Chelsea Franz’s main goal is to create and hold a safe space where the community and an exploration of the self can thrive. She aims to facilitate connection and to guide people toward an honest and real understanding of the mind-body unity developed in the yoga practice. Franz came to yoga during her senior year of high school.
It has since become the biggest tool in aiding with afflictions caused by her mental illness. She fell in love with yoga and maintained a regular practice because of it. After deciding she was tired of waking up to go to a job she hated, she completed her 200h YTT in August 2017 and has been teaching yoga ever since. When Franz isn’t sweating in the studio, she is observing the human condition and writing things down. She is on her way to finishing her B.A in Creative Writing at KPU and hopes to release her collection of poems and stories depicting millennial mental illness in due time.
